State Trooper Injured In Rocky Hill

(Rocky Hill, Conn./CBS Connecticut)- State Police say a trooper who was in his cruiser protecting a disabled vehicle on Interstate 91 in Rocky Hill suffered minor injuries when the cruiser was hit from behind.

State Police Lieutenant Paul Vance says the cruiser rolled over shortly after 9 a.m. near exit 23 Southbound.  The trooper was taken to Hartford Hospital.

An investigation is underway.
