(Vernon, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – A 24-year-old man is in stable condition and Vernon police are investigating following a weekend stabbing in town this weekend.
Just before 3 a.m. on Sunday, police were notified by those at Rockville General Hospital that they were treating a 24-year-old victim suffering from a wound to the abdomen.
The patient was transferred to Hartford Hospital where he underwent surgery and is listed in stable condition.
Detectives determined the victim was stabbed at the Vernon Pines complex on Regan Street.
So far, there’ve been no arrests and no word on a motive for the stabbing.
