(Vernon, Conn./CBS Connecticut) - Vernon police are charging a South Windsor man in connection with a bank robbery in their town last year.

Police on Friday arrested 22-year-old Dionige Nasiadka.

He’d been wanted on a warrant in the June 21, 2013 holdup of a People’s Bank Branch at the Tri-City Plaza.

Nasiadka faces two counts of robbery, three counts of kidnapping, and one count each of larceny and strangulation.

The suspect is accused of entering the bank that morning just after eight o’clock, tying up an employee and stealing an undisclosed amount of cash.
