Police Identify Pedestrian Killed In Vernon

(CBS Connecticut) — Vernon police have released the identity of a pedestrian killed when she was hit by a car Wednesday on Route 30.

Police say 58-year-old Kathleen Jasak of Vernon was pronounced dead at the scene.  The investigation into the accident is continuing and no charges have been filed against the driver, 66-year-old Robert Maly of Wallingford.
