Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Naugatuck Accident

(Naugatuck, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – Route 63 in Naugatuck has reopened after being closed earlier today, the result of an accident involving a motorcycle and a motor vehicle.

Police say the motorcycle was traveling south on Route 63 when the motor vehicle pulled out of Laurel Avenue, heading north on 63 at the time of the accident.

The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital.

The driver of the motor vehicle was not injured.

Names of those involved have not been released.

The accident remains under investigation.
