HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) – Police are trying to figure out who opened fire from outside an apartment in Hartford, hitting a man twice who was investigating knocking on his kitchen window less than two hours after midnight.
WFSB-TV (http://bit.ly/1yX7rtn ) reports that the victim suffered a gunshot wound in his groin area and a graze wound to his upper chest.
He was in stable condition and in surgery Saturday morning.
The man was inside his Wadsworth Street apartment when gunfire erupted at around 1:40 a.m.
Investigators did not get a description of the suspect.
They are looking for the suspect in a 2008 Mazda or Nissan.
Investigators ask anyone with information to contact police in Hartford.
