Police Urge Residents To Guard Against Thefts

(Madison, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – Madison police are advising residents to keep their vehicles locked at all times.

Officers say the town is still experiencing an uptick in thefts from unlocked vehicles.

They say the thief or thieves are have stolen such items as cash and loose change, electronics, sunglasses, purses, and wallets.

Police says residents should lock their vehicles and remove any valuables from plain sight.

Residents are also encouraged to report any suspicious activity to Madison police at (203) 245-2721.
