PORTLAND, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) _ No one was hurt, but a massive two-alarm fire destroyed a home on Belle Vista Heights in Portland Wednesday afternoon.
It broke out around 2 p.m. and quickly went to two alarms. Everyone made it out safely, including a teenager who was graduating from Portland High School Wednesday night, reports NBC Connecticut.
Almost everything in the home was destroyed in the blaze, with only the garage remaining.
The family did reportedly attend the teen’s graduation and he received his diploma.
