(South Windsor, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – A South Windsor man is facing charges in connection with a fatal accident in town from earlier this year.
Police have charged 24-year-old Adam Lincoln with manslaughter with a motor vehicle, assault with a motor vehicle, DUI, traveling too fast, and failure to maintain a proper lane.
The charges stem from a crash on February 2 on Hillside Drive in which one of Lincoln’s passengers was killed and another seriously injured.
Investigators say Lincoln’s car left the road and struck a tree.
Police say Lincoln’s blood alcohol leval was .171 and he’d been traveling well in excess of the 25-mile-an-hour speed limit.
He’s being held on $250 thousand bond after his appearance Monday in Manchester Superior Court.
