(Simsbury, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – Police in Simsbury have made an arrest in connection with a shooting last month at a condominium complex.

Under arrest is 20-year-old Alexander Rivera of Hartford.

He’s charged with assault, robbery, threatening and conspiracy.

Police say on May 19, a man was shot in the parking lot of the Wolcott Woods complex.

He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a wound to the upper body.

Rivera was picked up Monday with assistance from the Hartford Police shooting task force.

He’s being held on $500,000, pending arraignment today in Enfield Superior Court.

Investigators haven’t yet released a motive for the shooting.  They say the victim was not a resident of the complex.
