(Milford, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – An early morning disturbance in Milford leaves two people injured an a man under arrest.

Police say they received several 911 calls regarding the incident that occurred around 1:30 this morning outside 31 Lafayette Street.

They say a 50-year-old man was being treated for two non life-threatening stab wounds while a 20-year-old female was treated for a laceration to the hand.

Under arrest is 21-year-old Gustave Meyers, who lives at the residence.

He faces charges of first-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace and is being held on $25,000 bond.

Police say the three involved knew each other.

There’s no word on what sparked the violence; police are continuing to investigate.
