Triple-Shooting In New Haven

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) _ New Haven police are investigating a triple shooting.

Police say they received a report Monday night of a gunshot victim, but when officers arrived on the scene they found three victims.

Detectives say 23-year-old Jaquet Jacobs was shot in his right hand, 20-year-old Vincent Clark was shot in his abdomen and 21-year-old Ian Alston was shot in his thigh and wrist.

All three were taken to a hospital for treatment. The bullet grazed Jacobs hand and his injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening. Both Clark and Alston are listed in critical but stable condition.

Police say they do not have a motive or any suspects. They’re interviewing witnesses in the neighborhood and collecting evidence.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call New Haven police.
