
FARMINGTON, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) _ The driver of a sedan is in critical condition at Hartford Hospital after being involved in a two-vehicle head-on crash on Farmington Avenue (Route 4) in the area of Mountain Spring Road around 10:30 a.m. Monday.
Police say a white four-door sedan collided head-on into a tan pick-up truck.
The driver and lone occupant of the pick-up was fine, taken to Hartford Hospital for precautionary reasons.
The operator and lone occupant of the sedan suffered possible life-threatening injuries and was taken to Hartford Hospital via Life Star and is listed in critical condition.
The road was closed for about four hours before being re-opened.
No identities have been released at this time.
