Suspect Sought In Meriden Gym Thefts

(Meriden, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – Police in Meriden are looking for the person who broke into a locker at a gym in the city this week.

Meriden police say around 1:30 on Monday, they received a call to Edge Fitness on South Broad Street.

The caller had been working out at the gym when she noticed the lock on her lock was cut off and items inside taken.

Following the initial report, debit and credit cards belonging to the victim were found to have been used in the Hamden and Wallingford areas.

Police have released surveilance photos of a suspect.
