Hartford Homicide

HARTFORD (CBS Connecticut) _ Hartford police report the city’s fourth homicide of the year late Monday night.

It happened around 11:09 p.m. in the 600 Block of Park Street. A man killed after being shot three times in the chest.

Hartford police responded to find the man lying in front of 631 Park St. He was taken to Hartford Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The shot spotter system detected 11 shots fired.

Positive identification is tentative, pending next of kin notification.

Deputy Police Chief Brian Foley had the following tweet:
