Fire Damages Four Condominiums

(SOUTHINGTON,Conn./CBS Connecticut) – Four units at the Summer Ridge Condominium complex in Southington were left uninhabitable after an early Sunday morning fire.

The blaze was reported shortly before 2 am.When firefighters arrived , unit 28 was fully engulfed in flames. The occupant had escaped out a window and is hospitaliezd with injuries.Units 27-30 sustained smoke , water or fire damage and residents of those units are either staying withe relatives or are being assisted by Southington Social Services.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
