Man Wounded in New Haven Shooting

(New Haven, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – Police in New Haven are investigating a Friday night shooting that’s left a man seriously injured.

They say just before 8:30 p.m., they were called to the Georgetown Apartments on Quinnipiac Avenue on a report of gunfire.

Upon arrival, officers found 25-year-old Darryl Tyson suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was rushed to Yale-New Haven Hospital where he’s listed in critical but stable condition.

Police were able to speak to several witnesses at the scene but have so far made no arrests.
