Clinton Woman Arrested, Dogs Living in Squalor

CLINTON, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) _ A Clinton woman has been arrested on animal cruelty charges after an investigation revealed she had five dobermans living in squalor.

Emilie Blaine, 25, was arrested on five counts cruelty to animals and two counts unlicensed dog after two dobermans were found living in filth at her River Road home, as well as their three puppies.

The adult female was found to be missing her ear flap.

The dogs were malnourished and living in feces and urine.

Blaine posted $15,000 bond and is due in Middletown Superior Court May 6.
