Commercial Burglary in Newington

NEWINGTON, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) _ Newington Police are investigating a burglary at the Bliss Nail Salon earlier this month.

It happened at 2195 Berlin Turnpike on April 8. A male suspect kicked in the door on the second story of the building and then began rummaging through drawers.

Nothing of value was reported missing.

The suspect is described as a medium built white male in his 20’s with short, dark-colored hair and a chin-strap beard.

The suspect is wearing a light-colored zip up sweatshirt, jeans, black and white-colored sneakers, and a light-colored (possibly Jansport brand) backpack.

He was last seen walking northbound towards the Berlin Turnpike near the Wethersfield line.
