Infant’s Death Under Investigation

NAUGATUCK, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) _ Naugatuck police are looking into the untimely death of an infant at a home on Diamond Street Tuesday morning.

Police responded to 20 Diamond St. at 7 a.m. Tuesday on report of an unresponsive infant, who later died at a local hospital.

Monday night, two women were arrested at the same residence in a domestic dispute and that incident did not appear related to the baby’s death. The two arrested were not the infant’s parents.

Cherish Curtin, 32 of Bridgeport, and Jennifer Ramos, 27 of Waterbury, were each charged with disorderly conduct and appeared in court in Waterbury on Tuesday after being released on $500 bond.

The investigation into the infant’s death is ongoing.
