Things Calmer Tuesday Night In Storrs

STORRS, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) _ After a chaotic Monday night on UConn’s Storrs campus that included over 30 arrests, things were much calmer after the UConn women won their title Tuesday night, with a smaller crowd of about 5,000 inside Gampel Pavilion, creating less commotion outside.

Spokesman Tom Breen said there were two arrests, both were not UConn students.

The charges against those arrested were breach of peace and reckless endangerment.

As for damage, there was none to report Tuesday and most of the damage from Monday had been repaired.
