One Dead in Northeast Connecticut Crash

POMFRET,Conn./CBS Connecticut) – A Willington man died Wednesday afternoon when his vehicle crossed the center line of Route 44 near Drown Road in Pomfret, struck a second vehicle and then a utility pole.

49 year old Theodore Bolduc was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash just before 1 o’clock.The driver of the other vehicle, 24 year old Thomas Thompson of Central Village ,a section of Plainfield was not injured.

Anyone who may have witnessed the accident are encouraged to contact State Police Troop D in Danielson.
