PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — A Maine woman faces prison time after she pleaded guilty to harboring illegal workers and tax conspiracy in connection to managing two restaurants in the city of Waterville.

The U.S. attorney of Maine says 31-year-old Mei Juan Zhang has been sentenced to 14 months in prison for harboring illegal workers, money laundering conspiracy and conspiracy to file false tax returns.

She was also ordered to pay restitution of $54,288 to the Internal Revenue Service. Zhang pleaded guilty to the charges last Tuesday. She was the manager of the Grand Asian Buffet and the Super China Buffet.
