Family: Shelton Teen Threatened Before Being Shot

SHELTON, Conn. (AP) — Relatives of a 15-year-old Shelton High School sophomore say someone threatened to kill him before he was critically injured in a shooting last weekend.

Kristjan Ndoj remains in critical condition Tuesday at Bridgeport Hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was found shot in the head and leg in the driveway of a Shelton home Saturday night. No arrests have been announced.

Kristjan’s relatives and friends say he was friends with a girl who told him a few days before the shooting that her boyfriend was going to kill him if he continued to hang out with her.

The shooting prompted Shelton High School officials to offer counseling services to students and increase security at the school this week.
