Windsor Police Probe Untimely Death

(Windsor, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – Police in Windsor are investigating the untimely death of a man.

Around 1:30 Sunday afternoon, officer were called to the Flamingo Inn on Windsor Avenue on a report of a person unresponsive in a room.

Upon arrival, 33-year-old Josue Maldonado was found and subsequently pronounced dead at the scene.

Maldonado was the son of Hartford State Representative Minnie Gonzalez.

Police say Maldonado checked in around 2:30 Sunday morning.

Around 6:30 a.m., a woman was seen leaving the room.

Police say housekeeping staff found the body.

There were no signs of foul play and Maldonado’s body was taken the state medical examiner’s office for a autopsy.

Police say they don’t have a current address for Maldonado but that his driver’s license listed a Hartford address.
