Justice Scalia To Speak At Coast Guard Academy

NEW LONDON, Conn. (AP) _ U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia is delivering an address this week at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.

Scalia is expected to participate in academic seminars with cadets at the academy and deliver an address on Tuesday evening.

A dinner is also being held in Scalia’s honor as part of a fellowship program that brings political, military and industry leaders to the academy in New London.

The 78-year-old Scalia was appointed to the nation’s highest court in 1986 and is currently its longest-serving justice.
