Police Continue Search For Woman Exposed To Rabid Skunk

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) _ West Hartford Police continue to actively look for a woman who brought a rabid skunk to a veterinarian on North Main Street last Thursday afternoon.

She dropped off the sick animal and left. It later tested positive for rabies and was euthanized.

“We desperately need to find that woman because she’s been exposed and obviously there’s a significant health risk to her,” said Lt. Stephen Estes.

The woman is described in her 40s or early 50s.

The number to call for West Hartford Police is: (860) 523-5203.
