Robbery Suspect Arrested

(BRISTOL,Conn./CBS Connecticut)  –  Bristol  Police arrested a suspect in the robbery at the Gulf Mart on Riverside Avenue.The suspect, 42 year old  Kevin Chamberlin is accused of  entering the business with his hand in his jacket , demanded money, claiming  to have a gun.

The cashier did not resist and turned over  some cash and he suspect fled on foot.Chamberlin was charged with Robbery in the First Degree and Larceny in the Second Degree.He was also charged with Possession of Narcotics and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Chamberlin  was   additionally charged with  Violation of Probation on an arrest warrant from Simsbury Police.

Chamberlin  is being held in lieu of $100,000  bond  and is due in Bristol Superior Court Tuesday.
