Slew Of Car Burglaries

GUILFORD, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) _ Guilford police are investigating a string of car burglaries that happened early Saturday morning.

Police say they received over 15 complaints from people in the Sunrise Development community that their vehicles were being entered and items were being stolen.

It happened to unlocked vehicles parked in driveways on Davis Drive, Horseshoe Road and Cornfield Lane.

A number of items were reported stolen including cash, wallets, passports and sunglasses.

Guilford police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles and remove any items of value.
