Bridgeport, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) – A principal in Bridgeport remains on suspension after video surfaced allegedly showing the educator dragging students down a school’s hallway.
Carmen Perez Dickson was Principal of the city’s Tisdale school and Bridgeport’s Board of Education suspended her last year for six months without pay for dragging two kindergartners along the floor.
Officials say Dickson will finish her suspension next month but will not return to Tisdale.
Surveillance footage shows the 2012 dragging incidents that took place in the Spring.
Dickson’s lawyer says her client acted within school policy.
