Two more people died of seasonal flu in Connecticut in the most recent reporting week, bringing the total number of deaths to twelve, with more than 700 flu-related hospitalizations. 208 new cases were reported in the week ended Saturday.
The Department of Public Health says the flu is categorized as “widespread” across the state. Fairfield County continues to have the most reports, but Hartford County moved ahead of New Haven County into second place.
