Power Line Accident Causes Multiple Electrocution Victims

South Windsor, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) _ Two men are dead  after a dump truck came into contact with electric wires Wednesday morning around 11 a.m. in South Windsor.

It happened at an industrial park at 140 Rye St. South Windsor Police Chief Matthew Reed says the driver of the truck and another man were taken to Hartford Hospital, one by ambulance, the other via LifeStar. Police identified the dead as 55-year-old Lloyd Folsom, Jr. and 22-year-old Connor Betts.

Reed also says a nearby Connecticut Light & Power Crew was able to cut the power and allow rescuers to treat the victims.
