HARTFORD (CBS Connecticut) — Governor Malloy has ordered non-essential first-and-second shift state workers not to report to work today. That’s a change from the earlyer hour-and-a-half delay announced last night. The governor’s office issued a directive saying with heavy snow falling and the forecast that it will continue, he’s asking all residents to avoid unnecessary travel.
