Norwich Police Looking For Home Invaders

NORWICH, Conn. (AP) — Norwich police are asking the public for help in finding two suspects who opened fire with a handgun during a home invasion.

Authorities say two men entered a home on Union Street shortly before 1:30 a.m. Tuesday and fired several shots toward people who were in the home before running away. No one was injured.

Police didn’t disclose whether anything was stolen, but said the home invasion didn’t appear to be a random act.

One of the men was described as a Hispanic or light-skinned black male about 5-feet-9-inches tall, and the other was a shorter black male.

Officials say they’re reviewing footage from downtown surveillance cameras and are asking anyone with information to call them.
