Governor Updates Order; Non-Essential State Workers Need Not Report First Shift

At 8:00 a.m. Governor Malloy updated last night’s order delaying the start of the workday for state employees.  In his briefing,   he changed that to telling non-essential state workers not to report for the first shift.  He asked private employers to follow the state’s lead.

He instituted a “soft ban” on tandem trailers,  in cooperation with New York and New Jersey.

He says about half the flights at Bradley airport have been cancelled.
