Tuck Undergoes Knee Surgery; Out For Remainder Of Season

HARTFORD (CBS Connecticut) — The University of Connecticut says women’s basketball player Morgan Tuck is recovering after surgery on her right knee Thursday at the University of Connecticut Health Center.  Tuck, who is a sophomore forward, is expected to be ready for the start of next season.

Her last game was Jan. 7 against Houston,  when she scored 19 points.

Dr. Robert Arciero performed the surgery.

UConn Coach Geno Auriemma says he’s pleased the procedure was success, and is confident she’ll be ready to play at the beginning of next season.
