Winter Storm Warnings Overnight Into Wednesday: Litchfield, Hartford, Tolland, Windham Counties Read More

Some taxpayers who file and pay their state business taxes electronically are being given an extension after computer problems at the Taxpayer Service Center.  January 31 is the deadline, but officials at the Department of Revenue Services say a power failure took the servers down, even as some businesses were trying to file electronically. Business taxpayers now have until midnight Monday, Jan.31 to file electronically or by Telefile.

Taxpayers who file using paper returns still must have their forms postmarked by midnight Jan. 31.
