HPD Make Firearm & Drug Arrest

HARTFORD (CBS Connecticut) _ Friday afternoon Hartford police arrested a man on drug and weapon charges.

The Special Operations Group in conjunction with the Blue Hills CSO, Shooting Task Force, DEA, and Emergency Response Team, executed a search warrant at 34 Pembroke St. around 1:08 p.m.

The target of the investigation, convicted felon Michael Fairnot, 56, was located inside his home along with a Colt .38 Special firearm, ammunition, approximately 15 grams of crack-cocaine, drug packaging materials and $164,700.

Fairnot was arrested, charged with criminal possession of a firearm, narcotics possession, possession with intent to sell narcotics, possession with intent to sell narcotics within 1500-feet of a school and operating a drug factory.
