Man With ‘Joker-Like’ Lipstick Sought In Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) _ Norwalk police are looking to talk with a man who came into a local pet store Thursday morning wearing joker-like lipstick and then left with his cell phone and an attached device still on the counter.

The store was evacuated and the Stamford Police Bomb Squad deemed the phone to be safe, the attached device just an additional power supply for the phone.

Police say around 11 a.m. at Puppies of Westport, 255 Westport Ave., a man with red lipstick that extended to his cheeks like “The Joker” from Batman movies walked in, asked if the store had any “rescue dogs” then dropped his cell phone contraption on the counter and left in a burgundy sedan.

The man, in his 20s, is sought by police for questioning and so they can return his phone. Any information can be given to police by calling (203) 854-3111.
