New research suggests that consuming high levels of flavonoids, found in foods such as chocolate, tea, berries and wine, may help protect against type 2 diabetes. This is according to a study recently published in The Journal of Nutrition.

7:50- Keith and Michelle, Austin O., 9, from Burlington, CT will be here to talk about his Nutty Chicken Pineapple Pocket recipe, which might earn a $25,000 college fund! Austin just advanced to become one of the lucky ten finalists in the 12th Annual Jif Most Creative Sandwich Contest and now he needs some hometown support to spread the word to vote for his recipe.
