Milford Police Make Arrest After Man Called Them To His Home

MILFORD, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) _ Milford police arrested a man living at 76 Pond St. Sunday morning after he called them to his home around 4:37 a.m. on reports of intruders in his house.

Police arrived to find no intruders, but did find suspicious and potentially hazardous materials similar to those used to produce explosive devices. Police also located narcotics in plain view at the home.

Investigators eventually deemed the residence safe and cleared the scene several hours after the initial call.

Following a medical evaluation, the man, yet to be identified, was taken into custody by Milford police for criminal charges related to the investigation, which haven’t been released at this time.
