State Police Seize Crack in Danielson Arrest

DANIELSON, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) – State Police  have arrested  a Holland, Massachusetts man on drug charges  after  being stopped on Furnace Street in Danielson Thursday night.

During the traffic stop ,K-9 Dutch, a patrol shepherd  trained in narcotic detection  alerted police to the presence of   drugs.

Troopers say  they found  35   plastic bags  of crack cocaine  pre-packaged for street sale with an estimated value of $1750 hidden in a custom made void in his waistband.

45 year old  Lashawn Dismuke   was charged with Possession of Narcotics and Possession of Narcotics with Intent to Sell.It was Dismuke’s eighteenth arrest in Connecticut and his  third narcotics arrest by the Quality of Life Task Force in three months.

Dismuke is being held in lieu of $100,000 bond.
