7-11 Armed Robbery In Bristol

BRISTOL, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) _ Bristol police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at the 7-11 convenience store at 200 Riverside Ave. around 4:40 a.m. this morning.

A lone man entered, displayed a knife and ordered the cashier to give him all the money in the register. The cashier offered no resistance and handed over the money. The cashier was not injured.

The suspect then exited the store and was last seen heading west toward Mellen Street. An undetermined amount of cash was taken.

The man’s described as approximately 5-foot-4, possibly Hispanic and wearing a blue winter-type jacket, a wool cap with black and white zig-zag stripes, jeans and sneakers. He’s also said to have had what appeared to be a tee-shirt covering his face and gloves.
