Can’t Find A Job In CT
Connecticut made national news yesterday when Katherine Hackett from Moodus, CT introduced the President at a White House ceremony to ask the Congress to extend unemployment compensation benefits. Katherine Hackett said she has looked for work and will do anything to get off unemployment but there are no jobs available in Connecticut. This all must have been a big surprise to the Malloy Supremacy that has been bragging about the jobs they have created in Connecticut, “more than any other Governor ” which of course is not true. So the Democrats in Connecticut and across the nation want to have it both ways, they say they have created jobs and we are in an economic recovery , but wait we need “emergency extension of unemployment benefits” , because or the economic recession, so which is it? I think the people of Connecticut know, we are still in the economic slumps and until government cuts taxes, reduces regulations and provides some certainty of health care costs, employers are not in any hurry to hire more people.
