Two Fires In New Haven Displace Residents

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) – A pair of fires broke out in New Haven Saturday afternoon, displacing residents.

The first blaze was reported on Lloyd Street that sent one firefighter to the hospital. Officials say the flames spread to a neighboring home, but were contained.

The American Red Cross was called to the scene to assist.

Crews then responded to a fire on Norton Street.

Both fires are currently under investigation.
