Armed Robbery At Madison Rest Area

(Madison, Conn./CBS Connecticut) Connecticut state police are investigating an armed robbery that happened around 3:30 a.m. Monday (Dec. 23) at the McDonald’s rest stop between exits 61 and 62 on I-95 South in Madison.

Two Hispanic men wearing ski masks entered the empty restaurant with handguns. There were only four employees inside at the time, three of the employees sustained minor injuries during the robbery and were taken to Guilford Shoreline Clinic where they were treated and released.

Police continue to investigate and are asking anyone with information to contact them at (860) 399-2100.
