Aides Claim Harassment, Inappropriate Behavior By Assemblyman
BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — Three former aides have accused New York state Assemblyman Dennis Gabryszak (GAB’-ruh-zak) of sexual harassment.
The women make their case against the Buffalo-area lawmaker in a notice of claim, the first step toward a lawsuit. The notice, first reported by the Times-Union of Albany Friday (http://bit.ly/1koYLom), names Gabryszak, the state Assembly and state of New York.
Gabryszak’s former communications director, Kimberly Snickles, and two other aides say they reported inappropriate behavior to their supervisor, but he failed to take any action. All eventually quit.
A phone message left at Gabryszak’s Albany office wasn’t initially returned Friday.
The notice says at least two other former employees plan to come forward with similar allegations in the near future.
