Woman Exchanging Information After An Accident Is Killed When Struck By Another Driver

BROOKFIELD, Conn. (AP) _ A 31-year-old woman has died after being struck and pinned between two vehicles in Brookfield during a series of accidents that
police say may have been caused by sun glare.

Police say Erin Morrarty of New Milford was involved in one of the three  accidents on Route 25 Monday morning and got out of her car to exchange
information with another driver. Officials say an SUV struck a car that then hit Morrarty and pinned her against a van. She later was pronounced dead at Danbury Hospital.

Authorities say the first accident happened when the van was rear-ended by a car while stopped for a school bus. Police say Morrarty then struck the car that
hit the van.

Police are still investigating the accidents and no one has been charged.
