Wallingford Police Think Robbery Suspect May Have Returned

Wallingford Police say a suspect in a holdup two months ago resembles the individual who held up the same bank shortly before 10:00 a.m. Tuesday.  They released security camera images from both robberies at the First Niagara Bank.

Police say the suspect — between six feet and six-foot-four-inches in height, wore a surgical style mask and a hooded sweatshirt —  walked around the counter and emptied three cash drawers.  He fled running south on Main Street.

Police say the same bank was the target of a similar robbery October 17.
