On Saturday, Dec. 7, around 5:22 a.m., Glastonbury police spotted Chibuikem Onyebuchi, 23, of Newington, driving around the rear employee parking lot of the police department for several minutes before parking in front of the back entrance to the building.
Onyebuchi told police that he was on the way home from a friend’s house, but could not find his way out of the parking lot.
Shortly thereafter, he was arrested by police on drunk-driving charges and also for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
Onyebuchi’s license was under suspension because of two previous DUI arrests. Non-surety bond set at $25,000. He’s due in court Dec. 16.
